Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of all property of Wash & Go Pty Ltd (Referred to as Wash & Go). Wash & Go is located at 9 Chapman Street, Swan Hill, VIC, 3585.

 

By entering our facility and remaining on our premises, you agree to pay all fees payable for your service and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these conditions, please leave our premises immediately.

 

You accept that your vehicle is fit for purpose and acknowledge that Wash & Go will not be held responsible for anything that is dislodged, broken or misplaced, inside or outside any vehicle, which has been caused by our normal washing process. 

 

This includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Aerials (including aerials that cannot be removed or completely retract)

  • Preexisting damage whatsoever

  • Damage to wipers 

  • Loose or faulty interior trims, buttons, knobs, etc

  • Number plates and/or covers

  • Windscreen adhered accessories (Etags, mirrors, etc)

  • Any items in a Vehicle

  • Sunroofs, windows or faulty seals

  • Cracked or chipped windows

  • Window tint

  • Vehicle paint or duco (Chips, blisters, oxidised, flaked paintwork and spider webbing)

  • Any modified or aftermarket accessories

  • Automatic door locks including auto lock vehicles, kill switches or alarms

  • Bonnet and windshields

  • Headlight protectors, mud flaps, side skirts or bumpers

  • Faulty ignitions, flat or damaged batteries, alarm keys, mechanical faults or keys

  • Vehicle stickers, signage & graphics

  • Scratches or marks to rims, bull bars or roll bars

  • Damage caused to vehicles due to your vehicle stopping, braking or turning manually or automatically inside the wash tunnel.

 

The customer accepts full responsibility for any damages or loss incurred to their vehicle whatsoever.

 

Wash & Go will abide by its obligations pursuant to the Australian Consumer Law, and these terms and conditions should not be taken to limit those obligations.

 

Other than as provided for in the Australian Consumer Law, Wash & Go expressly disclaims liability for any loss, damage or injury whatsoever which is suffered or sustained in connection with your participation in or making available your items for the provision of their services.

 

You indemnify members of Wash & Go against any liability, injury, loss or damage which may be suffered, incurred or sustained arising out of, relating to, or in any way connected with, any act or omission (including negligence) by you, your vehicle or your breach of these terms and conditions.

 

 

Promotions and Discounts

Only one promotion or discount can be used per visit.

A promotion or discount cannot be used:

  • after payment has been made; or

  • in conjunction with any other offer or discount; or

  • non-transferable, not for resale, and not redeemable for cash; and

  • good only for the specific service featured per individual discount or promotion.

  • If requested, the customer must provide proof/evidence that a discount is valid or they are eligible for a discount.

  • Wash & Go reserves the right to withdraw, amend or cancel a discount offer or promotion at any time.

 

Vouchers 

Vouchers are subject to:

  • the specific terms and conditions stated on the Voucher;

  • these general voucher terms and conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, the former prevails.

  • Not redeemable for cash and cannot be used to purchase gift cards.

  • Must be redeemed within the validity period.

  • Must be used in one transaction. May only be redeemed once.

  • Not redeemable on café items/ already discounted washes or Waves Unlimited Wash Club unless expressly stated otherwise.

  • Cannot be used for previously paid washes.

  • If no expiry date is stated on the Voucher, Vouchers will expire 3 months from the date of issue.

  • Voucher must be surrendered in store upon redemption.

  • If purchase exceeds the Voucher amount, the balance must be paid by other available payment options.

  • Expired Vouchers are not redeemable and voucher amounts will not be refunded or credited when expired.

  • Defaced, mutilated, altered, lost or stolen Vouchers will not be replaced, refunded or redeemed.

  • Wash & Go does not accept any responsibility for lost or stolen Vouchers.

  • Wash & Go reserves the right to verify the identity of the bearer and to change the terms of use at any time without notice.

 

Gift Cards and Prepaid Cards 
  • Gift Cards or Prepaid Cards means an electronic or physical card that has prepaid currency loaded onto it to be spent on Wash & Go carwash services in accordance with these terms and conditions.

  • The value of the gift card includes GST.

  • Not redeemable for cash and cannot be used to purchase other gift cards or other tender. Cannot be exchanged. 

  • Gift cards will expire 12 months from the date of issue, unless expressly stated otherwise.

  • If purchase exceeds the gift card amount, the balance must be paid by other available payment options.

  • Must be redeemed within the validity period.

  • Physical gift cards must be surrendered upon redemption in full.

  • Expired gift cards are not redeemable and gift card amounts will not be refunded or credited when expired.

  • We reserve the right to cancel any gift card for any reason at any time without notice. In such instances we will elect to provide a refund or a replacement gift card.

  • Gift cards are treated like cash. Defaced, mutilated, altered, lost or stolen vouchers will not be replaced, refunded or redeemed.

  • Wash & Go does not accept any responsibility for lost gift cards.

  • Wash & Go reserves the right to adjust Gift Card Values that have resulted from operator error, computer error and/or fraud or any other reason beyond the control of Waves Carwash.

  • Wash & Go reserves the right to verify the identity of the bearer and to change the terms of use at any time without notice.

 

Account Customers

Customers can apply for a credit account. Credit account application forms can be found on the Wash & Go website www.washandgoswanhill.com.au. Wash & Go reserves the right to approve or deny a credit account application. 

 

Acceptance of a credit account application is contingent upon the customer agreeing to sign up with Ezidebit and accepting the Ezidebit terms & conditions.

 

Wash & Go reserves the right to offer discounts to credit account applicants based on their turnover per account per month.

Credit account customers will be charged an initial $10 setup fee and this includes providing an RFID tag and a RFID fob. If customers require replacement tags or fobs or require additional tags or fobs these will be charged accordingly. 

 

Wash & Go reserves the right to terminate your Wash & Go credit account and request the return of your RFID tags and fobs. Termination can include but not limited to if you don't use our facilities for 12 consecutive months, or if we believe that you have engaged in fraudulent or unlawful activity or failed to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

 

We may discontinue our Wash & Go credit accounts at any time at our sole discretion with no liability to you. If we do so, we'll publish a notice on our website to you to let you know.

Wash & Go may change the Wash & Go credit accounts and these terms and conditions at any time, or add new terms or conditions. If we do so, we'll publish an updated version on our website at www.washandgoswanhill.com.au

 

Wash & Go reserves the right to adjust the Wash & Go credit accounts that have resulted from operator error, computer error and/or fraud or any other reason beyond the control of Wash & Go.

 

Dealership Cards

Dealership Cards means a RFID tag or RFID fob that has prepaid currency loaded onto it to be spent on Wash & Go services in accordance with these terms and conditions.

  • The value of the dealership card includes GST.

  • Dealership Cards will expire 12 months from the date of issue, unless expressly stated otherwise.

  • If purchase exceeds the dealership cards value, the balance must be paid by other available payment options.

  • Must be redeemed within the validity period.

  • Physical dealership cards must be surrendered upon redemption in full.

  • Expired dealership cards are not redeemable, amounts will not be refunded or credited when expired.

  • We reserve the right to cancel any dealership card for any reason at any time without notice

  • Dealership cards are treated like cash. Defaced, mutilated, altered, lost or stolen dealership cards will not be replaced, refunded or redeemed.

  • Wash & Go does not accept any responsibility for loss of Dealership cards.

  • Wash & Go reserves the right to adjust Dealership Card Value that have resulted from operator error, computer error and/or fraud or any other reason beyond the control of Waves Carwash.

  • Wash & Go reserves the right to verify the identity of the bearer and to change the terms of use at any time without notice.

  • Only one Dealership Card can be used per Visit.

  •  A Dealership Card cannot be used:

    • after payment has been made; or

    • in conjunction with any other offer or discount.

    • Dealership Cards are:

    • non-transferable, not for resale, and not redeemable for cash; and

    • able to be used in self-serve bays, vacuum bays or dog wash during normal business hours

 

Privacy Policy

Wash & Go provides services which require us to collect, store and use your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

 

Respecting your privacy:

This policy sets out how we collect and may deal with your personal information. We respect your privacy and will only deal with any personal information that we have collected in accordance with this policy, as updated from time to time.

 

Types of Personal Information we may collect:

In order for us to effectively provide our car wash services, we may collect personal information from you. This may include:

  • date of birth;

  • credit/debit card details;

  • Contact information

  • residential address;

  • phone number(s);

  • vehicle details;

  • records of your use of our services;

  • images and/or recordings onsite at our stores.

The primary occasions will be when you provide us with the information yourself (including by email, phone, internet through use of our website or social media, or any other medium), when a third party (e.g. if a gift voucher is purchased for you) provides us with the information or if we ask you for personal information.

We use your personal information to provide our services. We will use your identification and contact information to correspond with you, as necessary, in order to provide our services.

We may use your personal information for the purpose of research and development of our products and services, staff training and communicating with you about promotions we offer. We may tell you about these services and offers via mail, email, telephone or any other means of direct communication. You may opt-out of receiving direct marketing at any time by contacting us on the details provided in the “Contact Us” section of this Privacy Policy.

Your personal information may be disclosed to third parties (such as credit reporting agencies, as necessary) to facilitate the provision of our services to you. We may use images or recordings of you at our site, in our social media accounts, and/or for marketing purposes.

If you do not agree with your personal information being treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy, you should not provide your personal information to us, or consent to a third party doing so, nor should you utilise our services. However, if we are not provided with the personal information we need, we may not be able to provide you with the service you want or we may be restricted in the way that we provide the service.
